DSRSG VISITS PRISON

Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General, Sukehiro Hasegawa
today visited Gleno prison.
Mr. Hasegawa met with the District Administrator, Victor Santos and prison
Director, Elena Gomes and was taken on a tour around the prison complex
During the tour Mrs. Gomes briefed DSRSG about the conditions and the
needs
required by the prison.
Vice-Minister, Manuel Abrantes and his advisor João Natal accompanied
Mr.
Hasegawa on this trip.
DSRSG also met with the District Administrator after the visit.
